In a daring daylight heist, seven suspects have been arrested in Bengaluru after they stole $800,000 by impersonating Reserve Bank officials. Three days later, police recovered 57.6 million rupees. Bengaluru police commissioner Seemant Kumar Singh confirmed the arrest of the seventh individual, while investigations continue to identify further accomplices. Notable among the arrested are Gopal Prasad, a cash transport employee, and Annappa Naik, a local police constable. Authorities are reviewing CMS procedures, stressing the need for cash vans to avoid predictable routes to thwart future bank heists.
