Thailand's Queen Suthida made her first solo flight in a fighter jet, according to the Thai Royal Household.
The Queen was shown boarding a Gripen on 8 October at an airfield in Surat Thani province, southern Thailand, while King Maha Vajiralongkorn watched from the ground.
The Royal Household has said she is an experienced pilot, having logged about 1,188 hours across several types of aircraft since she began flying in 2010.
She also co-piloted aircraft carrying the King on official visits to other countries, the Royal Household said.
