Mcap of Top Firms Soars by Rs 2.05 Lakh Crore

The market capitalization of eight out of the top ten valued companies surged by an impressive Rs 2,05,185.08 crore last week, with Bharti Airtel and Reliance Industries leading the charge.

Key Highlights

The BSE Sensex climbed by 1,346.5 points (1.62%), while the NSE Nifty increased by 417.75 points (1.64%). This marked a significant rebound after a recent downturn.

Bharti Airtel witnessed a remarkable increase of Rs 55,652.54 crore, raising its market cap to Rs 11,96,700.84 crore. Similarly, Reliance Industries soared by Rs 54,941.84 crore, reaching Rs 20,55,379.61 crore. Tata Consultancy Services and ICICI Bank also enjoyed notable gains, boosting their market valuations significantly.

In contrast, Bajaj Finance and Life Insurance Corporation of India saw declines in their market caps. Overall, the surge in capitalization reflects renewed investor confidence and market strength.
