Moma Foods has issued a recall for select porridge pots and sachets due to concerns about mouse contamination that occurred last autumn. The Food Standards Agency (FSA) released an alert on Sunday advising consumers to avoid these products.

Affected Products: The recall encompasses nine items, including both porridge pots and sachets.
Background: Moma Foods, owned by AG Barr, launched an investigation following a consumer report regarding a potential contamination issue.
Notification: The third-party manufacturer informed Moma on March 20 that a mouse contamination event had taken place in autumn 2025.

– Cranberry & Raisin Porridge Pot (70g) – available in one, eight, and 12 packs

Consumer Guidance

The FSA has urged customers who have purchased these affected Moma porridge products not to consume them. Instead, they should return the products to the store for a full refund.

Moma Foods emphasized that it is collaborating with the FSA to ensure that all affected batches are removed from sale and that necessary health protocols are adhered to. Although only one consumer report has been received so far, the company is taking precautionary measures by recalling all batches produced within the relevant timeframe.
