Young girl finds whale stranded on Australian beach

A young girl and her mother found a humpback whale stranded at Wathumba Creek in K'gari, Queensland, Australia.
The whale later self-released on the afternoon of Sunday 9 August, according to the Queensland Department of the Environment, Tourism, Science and Innovation.
It advises not to touch, interfere with or get close to stranded marine animals and to report them immediately.
